Headboard Assembly
Items
- 2 struts
- 4 screws
- 1 headboard
Instructions
1.Locate the four stapled areas at the back of the headboard with holes for screws.2.Align struts with holes on bottom-half of headboard and fasten them with supplied screws.3.The Headboard is now ready to attach to the bed base.
Divan Single 3ft
Items
- 2 headboard screws
- 4 gliders
- 1 base
Instructions
- Remove packaging and corner protectors.
- Flip bases upside down.
- Locate four pre-drilled holes at each corner.
- Insert four gliders firmly into the bottom. Use a rubber mallet if needed.
- Flip base back over onto gliders and press down on corners to stabilise.
If you have a headboard to attach:
- Locate headboard stickers.
- Pierce the chosen end's sticker.
- Insert screws, leave space for struts.
- Place struts over screws.
- Adjust height and tighten screws to secure headboard (Note: adjust height to fit mattress depth).
Divan 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft, 6ft.

- 8 gliders
- 2 link bars
- 4 link bar screws
- 2 bases
Instructions
- Remove packaging and corner protectors.
- Identify straight and curved corners. Straight corners connect the two bases.
- Flip bases upside down.
- Locate four pre-drilled holes at each corner.
- Insert eight gliders (four per base) into the bottom of bases. Use a rubber mallet if needed.
- Flip bases and locate link bar holes where straight sides meet.
- Place the link bar and screw in nuts starting with a smaller hole on the right.
- Tighten nuts on both sides to secure the link bar.
If you have a headboard to attach:
- Locate headboard stickers.
- Pierce the chosen end's sticker.
- Insert screws, leave space for struts.
- Place struts over screws.
- Adjust height and tighten screws to secure headboard (Note: adjust height to fit mattress depth).
If you have drawers in your base:
- Remove fabric strips that secure drawers in place during transit.
- Pull, tug, or cut them off, being careful not to damage the bed base or yourself. (Note: The fabric strips are secured with staples.)
Note: Gas lifts are fully extended for safety during shipment. Push down firmly on the bed base to overcome initial resistance, using a mattress to aid this process. Do not operate the lift-up mechanism without a mattress. The system is designed to effectively lift the base system fitted with a variety of mattress weights and depths, but gas cylinders may be stiff initially or if unused for a while. Use both hands to pull the mattress base down equally from the centre. Do not pull down on one side only to avoid damaging the base system and lift mechanism.
3ft ottoman

- 4 headboard screws
- 1 base
Instructions
- Remove packaging and corner protectors.
- Flip bases upside down.
- Locate four pre-drilled holes at each corner.
- Insert four gliders firmly into the bottom. Use a rubber mallet if needed.
- Flip base back over onto gliders and press down on corners to stabilise.
- Remove the fabric strap holding the lid down.
- Place the mattress on the ottoman in an open position. Gas struts may initially feel stiff, but will loosen with use.
4ft 4ft6 5ft 6ft ottoman

- 4 gliders
- 4 headboard screws
- 2 bases
Instructions
- Remove packaging and corner protectors.
- Identify which side the bases will connect.
- Flip bases upside down.
- Locate four pre-drilled holes at each corner.
- Insert eight gliders (four per base) into the bottom of bases. Use a rubber mallet if needed.
- Flip base back over onto gliders and press down on corners to stabilise.
- Remove the fabric strap holding the lid down.
- Bring the two parts of the base together
- Insert U-clips.
- Link the lids with a bolt.
- Place the mattress on the ottoman in an open position. Gas struts may initially feel stiff, but will loosen with use.
If you have a floor standing headboard:
- Locate fixing points in bed or use stickers provided.
- Screw bolts through headboard slots into bed.
- Tighten bolts to secure the headboard.
